With the Partner doing as well as it did, Peugeot decided to refresh it in 2008 and introduced this model. With its sleeker, more contemporary appearance, updated cabin, and improved handling, it’s definitely capable of mounting a challenge to the class leaders; and so far it has been pretty well received. There are more trim levels and body types than before to choose from, and has even become a preferred choice for camper conversions. The new cabin area is as refined and comfortable as ever. There’s plenty of room for the driver and passengers, most of the trim and plastics robust and well-built, and there’s a good level of standard kit across the range. In terms of practicality, the Partner comes with a choice of three payloads, two cargo capacities, and two body lengths. This makes it one of the most practical and versatile vans in its class. On top of that, it’s really good fun and easy to drive; it handles well, the steering feels precise, the ride is smooth on the move, it hardly rolls on corners even with a full load.
